RE/MAX Malta has increased their year on year sales turnover in 2011 by 45% and letting turnover by 25% respectively. This was announced by Kevin Buttigieg, Managing Director of RE/MAX Malta during the company’s annual general meeting held recently at Hilton Malta
Addressing over 150 RE/MAX affiliates in the Portomaso Suite, Mr. Buttigieg thanked all affiliates, including administration, associates, managers and franchise owners for their astounding achievements in 2011 and their steady start to the new year with a solid performance in January. He said “2011 was an excellent year thanks to the collective efforts of all employees making up the RE/MAX Malta family. We already started the year up by 35% compared to last year and we shall continue to support you to achieve greater heights in 2012”.
Kevin Buttigieg’s speech was followed by a speech from Edward Agius, Letting manager, who gave a brief overview of the letting performance of 2011. He was followed by a presentation by Jeffrey Buttigieg, Regional Director, who gave an overview of the marketing, PR and information technology activities and also announced that the company’s website was recognised by RE/MAX Europe for being the most optimised regional website in all of RE/MAX.
Joseph P Theuma, General Manager of RE/MAX Malta, gave graphical presentation highlighting the milestones and achievements of 2011 which was followed by an awards ceremony.
Commenting on the event, Kevin Buttigieg said “We provide a foundation, the tools and we mentor and show our people how to best utilise their abilities. We are one big family and we are always happy at this time of the year to award our people for their excellent achievements.
The top individual performers in property sales of RE/MAX Malta in 2011 were married couple Vanessa and Noel Agius who won first and second place for most revenue generated respectively with Charles Vella Rapa coming in third place for the same award. Roderick Cucciardi won the award for most inspections sold whereas Patrick Spiteri won the award for most konvenji signed throughout 2011. RE/MAX Alliance Tigne won top sales office for 2011 on two accounts namely for volume sales accumulated and for revenue generated, whereas the RE/MAX Business Development office won top sales office for revenue generated per capita per day. The top individual performers in property letting were Lorainne Bonnici, Jason Cornthwaite and Michaela Tabone who came first, second and third respectively where Sue Carabott won for the second year in a row the award of top listing associate.
The individual top winners of the awards are provided a complimentary trip to Las Vegas to attend the RE/MAX International Convention.
