RE/MAX Professionals office in St Julians has won two awards for their outstanding achievements in 2011 during at 4th Annual RE/MAX Europe Convention which was held in Vienna Austria. The company won the “Best office in Europe Award” while Lorainne Bonnici, one of their associates, ranked as one of the top three real estate agents in Europe. This is a first time that a local real estate company has been awarded for such an achievement. The awards are strictly based on performance which is calculated by RE/MAX Europe through their reporting system.
Speaking about the award, Kevin Buttigieg, Owner of RE/MAX Professionals offices said “I am very pleased that we have been awarded such a prestigious award which was based on our performance and not by so-called
uropean industry specialist simply on a business plan and marketing efforts. Such an award based on top performance is not only transparent but proves that our strategies work and bear results.”
This year’s European Convention marked another two milestones in the history of RE/MAX Malta. Paul Vincenti, the company’s exclusive trainer was a guest speaker at the convention and Joseph P Theuma, General Manager of RE/MAX Malta, was a panellist during one of the main stage discussions that was mentored by Michael Polzler, Managing Director of RE/MAX Europe.
Mr Theuma said that “The convention is a real eye opener where one shares their best practices so that others can emulate. It is an honour to represent Malta as a top performing region and share what we have been doing successful so that others can learn from such business processes.”
The three day event was attended by over 600 RE/MAX affiliates from Europe and other regions including South Africa, Canada and the USA. Keynote speakers were Richard Robbins, International Speaker and Trainer, Michael Polzler and Wayne and Virginia Munden, owners of a successful RE/MAX office in Canada. The event was also attended by thirteen Maltese RE/MAX affiliates. During the three days the affiliates followed a programme and attended workshops delivered by industry experts on how to improve your business and perform at a higher level.
In conclusion, Kevin Buttigieg said “This is a great opportunity for our associates, franchise owners and managers to learn about processes that work in other countries and eventually test them out in Malta. The real estate industry is a universal business and what works in one country usually works in another country, barring the cultural differences.”
